Henna Night Candles!! August 23, 2015 18:32

Hello and Welcome!!

The Brief

Today I'm going to talk about a bright and beautiful candle order I designed for a bride to be a couple of weeks ago. The brief was pretty simple; bright, vivid colours with bold patterns and last but not least clear gems to give it that pizzazz. It always excites me when I get to work with multicoloured acrylics!!

Inspiration

Whenever I start an order, I always find inspiration first. With this order I found many inspirational pictures on Pinterest, from bold sari borders to rangoli patterns. I kept as much blank space as possible to give the bold pattern in the middle as much limelight as I could. To finish the top and bottom I decided on a vine leaf effect all the way around the candle. With the tea lights I decided to scale down the pattern I had created on the pillar candles.

Behind The Culture

In the Indian culture a henna night is definitely a colourful affair, from the multicoloured saris draped across the walls and bright silk cushions scattered across the floor. This is one of the most memorable nights for the bride. At the end of the night the henna candles and tea lights can be given away as a little souvenir of the night to close family and friends or they can be kept as home decor.

Personalised Henna Candles

Henna candles and tea lights make the perfect centre piece not just for henna nights but for any special occasion. Each candle is a blank canvas and you can personalise it how you desire, that's the beauty of it. All of our candles can be personalised with names, dates, special messages and theme colours. We put a lot of love and care into each of our products so that in a small way we can add to your big day.
